With the years of hunting for a proper diagnosis and the many doctor appointments, I realized that each of these medical professionals looked at me differently. It depended on their specialization, background, and experience with vestibular evaluations specifically.
I wanted to show the pathways a few different types of practitioners may take when you first show up in their office complaining of vertigo or dizziness. We have and will again, search online for help and undoubtedly see the same options pop up claiming to help. Chiropractors, physical therapists, pain management specialists, neurologists, functional doctors, and general practitioners. Is any practitioner a better first person to see that can tell you if what you are feeling is vertigo and what you should do about it?
